先週より新しくインターン生としてb.E.CampにやってきましたCHANです。
この度b.E.Campもとい、Basic English Campにインターン生になりましたのでご挨拶いたします。

大型新人Teacher Jeff(ジェフ)が、新しくb.E.Campのスタッフに加わりましたので紹介したいと思います！

Jeffrey B. Teodoro
・Where are you from in the Philippines? 出身は？
I live in Laguna, very near the Basic English Camp location.
・What curriculum do you like to teach? どの教科を教えるのが好き？
English month and situational practice are the two classes I like teaching the most. I have more flexibility teaching those two classes.
・When did you start to study English? 英語の勉強を始めたのはいつ？
I used to teach many types of curricula, including kid’s English and IELTS review classes. I even have experience in job interview classes. I started studying English when I started speaking because English was my first language.
・How did you study English? どうやって英語を勉強した？
I studied English in many different ways. I watched English movies, read a lot of English books and listened to English songs. The most important thing is to speak it as often as possible.
・What do you like to do? 好きな事は？
My passion is teaching and and music so I devote my time to those two things. I play many instruments including piano, violin and guitar. I also study different teaching techniques online.
・What is your type? 好きな異性のタイプは？
I’m currently single. Intelligent women interest me, women who have something significant to say. I like women who aren’t insecure about themselves and their abilities, women who know what they want.
・What Filipino food do you like? 好きなフィリピン料理は？
I like Filipino food like caldereta and adobo. I like anything with meat in it.
・Message to the students
Come to BEC and learn with us! you’ll be surprised with your progress once you start learning in our environment. I know we’ll have fun learning English together. See you!
英語の知識も豊富で発音も綺麗な大型新人のJeffです。英語講師経験もあり、メソッドの飲み込みも早く、既に授業を受けて頂いた生徒さんから高評価を頂いています。
比較的若い講師陣の中、30代の講師が加わったことにより他の講師陣にもいい刺激になっています。
トレーニング時から引き込めるような授業をできるようになっていったので、講師になり、更に今後が期待の先生の一人です。

草食系男子 Teacher Miguel(ミゲル)が、新しくb.E.Campのスタッフに加わりましたので紹介したいと思います！

I am from San Pedro, Laguna
・What curriculum do you like to teach? どの教科を教えるのが好き？
I like to teach SBS! But I’m starting to really like SP too!
・When did you start to study English? 英語の勉強を始めたのはいつ？
I can’t remember! But I started to study it seriously when I joined B.E.C., during the training! haha
・How did you study English? どうやって英語を勉強した？
I learned English as early as I can remember. No particular age. But at home, me and my siblings converse in English. We grew up that way, and it’s all because of all the fairy tales we used to watch. We always watched a lot of English movies and T.V. shows.
・What do you like to do? 好きな事は？
I love drawing sceneries and environments. I’m actually working my way to being an Environmental Concept Artist for video games! But I still need PLENTY of practice. I also love baking, particularly cheesecakes! I dream of having my own cheesecake café someday. One can dream! I dream a lot too, I guess.
・What is your type? 好きな異性のタイプは？
I like people who wholeheartedly care for the environment and those who are considerate and honest. I also really like people who have a good sense of humor.
・What Filipino food do you like? 好きなフィリピン料理は？
Tinola, Paksiw na pata, Barbecue, Halo-halo, ginataang halo-halo, turon, champorado, Ice scramble, ensaymada, mamon and buko pandan salad! yum!
・To students
The thirst for learning is something that you should always have. One can never stop learning, in this beautiful world filled with vast knowledge and rich experiences, being curious is what will add color and meaning to your life. So always remember; do not be scared of being curious. Grab all the knowledge and experiences that you can, because nothing is worse than an empty mind and heart.
チーズケーキを作るのが好きで、ハニカミ笑顔を見せてくれるTeacher Miguel。
トレーニング時は、緊張で震えていた時もありましたが、厳しいトレーニングを突破して晴れて先生になる事ができました。
今後に期待の先生の一人です。

I started studying English when I was in elementary.

I went to school and studied at home.

I’d like to watch movies, anime series, read books and travel to different places.

Someone who has a sense of humor, is responsible and knows how to value people.

I like beef sinigang, beef caldereta, kare-kare and “kakarins”.

Juverli(ジュヴァリ)は、新人の先生の中でも一番年上で落ち着いています。
以前、違う語学学校で働いていた経験もあるので、飲み込みも早く、教え方も上手です。

Way back in college but I’m learning more here BEC.

I studied English in school and read books such as novels.

I like to study, prepare for my lessons, sometimes watching TV and sing in Karaoke bars.

I like kare-kare, adobo, sinigang, pinakbet and lechon.

Teacher Malyn(マーリン)は、とてもフレンドリーで優しい先生なので、すぐ仲良くなれると思います。
愛嬌があって、憎めないキャラです。朝学校に来るのも早くしっかりしてます。
歌を歌うのも好きで、教会などでも歌ったりしているそうです。
生徒さんに上手く英語を教えられるように必死に頑張ってます。

My favorite Filipino food is adobo.
Kerwin(カーウィン)は、カラダが大きいので最初は怖い印象を受けるかもしれないですが、愛嬌があってフレンドリーです。
主にお部屋の掃除や学校のご飯を作ってくれてます。
BECで一番の力持ちなので、重いものを運ぶ作業がある時など非常に助かります。
カーウィンもバンドをやっていて、ベース、ギター、キーボードなどの楽器もひけて歌もすごい上手いです。
毎週歌いに学校近くのカラオケができるレストランに行ってます◎

Nikki(ニッキー)は、主にお部屋の掃除や学校のご飯を作ってくれてます。
ちょっとシャイで、はにかんだ笑顔を見せてくれます。
小さい頃から母親の料理の手伝いをしていて、料理を作るのが上手く、生徒さんに好評です◎
バンドもやっていて過去には大会で優勝経験もある実力者です。
ニッキーはバンドでボーカルをやっているので、歌が上手いです。
学校の近くにカラオケができるレストランがあるので、生徒さんは一度は歌声を聞ける機会があると思います◎

I’m a foodie, I literally go to places just to try foods – a sweet tooth they call me.

Hi! I’m Angela! I’ve taught in a couple of schools in four years.
I love Asian people, Japanese to be specific, for I have worked with them for years.
You know what I love most about teaching?
It’s culture – something I will never learn unless I go out of this country – I thought before. But working here at BEC is really amazing. I get to know Taiwanese people too which is really interesting for me. It helps develop my working abilities and also my personality. We build friendships and a family. A school where you can call a “home” a kind of comfort that’s difficult to find in all other international schools, yet you can focus on studying for we have less leisure and night life compared to other cities – so less distractions so to speak. But you can still have fun in the “Big city”-just help an hour drive Manila. I’m not telling you all to come here, but just try!
You can experience quality teachers in a growing school.
So grow and learn with us!

明るくパワフルです｡発音が良く､先生の中でも特別アメリカンサウンドやリンキングサウンド(単語同士の音をくっつけてスムーズに発音する技術が高いです｡
特にリスニングに必要な能力)にこだわりを持っているので､発音クラスはお見事!!
ストーリーシェアのネポボーディングハウスで講師の経験もあり、オールマイティに英語を教えるのが上手いです｡
第一印象はボーイッシュですが､中身はかなり乙女です｡ピンクが大好きです。
ボーディングティーチャー(住み込みの先生)の内の１人なので英語で会話できます◎
